Conference on Urban Economics Research -II

This Symposium is arranged by Pamukkale University, Department of Public Administration and State Planning Organization of Turkey (SPO).

First Symposium was arranged in September 2003 and papers are published in two volumes by SPO in March 2004.

Second Symposium is organized to be held in June 2005 in Denizli, Turkey. This second Symposium is again arranged by Pamukkale University and State Planning Organization of Turkey.

The title/theme of the this year's CUER is new industrial agglomerations and local/urban growth dynamics.

CUER is planned to be arranged biannually by Pamukkale University. Pamukkale Universiy is located in Denizli, Turkey. Denizli is in Southwestern part of Turkey where many ancient cities exist.

It is planned to bring various related disciplines together in this interdisciplinary conference. Academicians and experts from the disciplines of geography, regional science, city and regional planning, economics, public administration and public policy, sociology, history and business administration are invited to attend to CUER.

In near future, CUER may be arranged with international participation, again in Denizli, Turkey.
